General Practitioner Registrars
This Practice is a General Practitioner training practice and often benefits from the services of General Practice Registrars. These are fully qualified doctors with several years of post-qualification experience. They join us for up to twelve months to gain experience in family practice. Registrars are required to videotape some of their consultations for assessment of their progress and you may be asked to consent to this in writing.
We also have occasional medical students observing the Practice. You will be notified if this is so and you may request to be seen without the student present if you so wish.
Alison Alcorn and Claire Woolfitt triage many ‘on the day’ problems and also run family planning clinics, Asthma/COPD sessions and diabetic reviews.
