telephone 03000 247 247. Emergency medical cover is provided by Cumbria Health on Call, the GP Out of Hours Service.

Your call will be logged by the telephonist and you will then speak to a nurse who will give you medical advice, or if necessary arrange for you to speak or see a doctor.

You will be seen in one of our local centres, which are:

• Royal Lancaster Infirmary
• Furness General Hospital
• Queen Victoria Hospital

In certain circumstances, a doctor may undertake a home visit.
